Since 2012, the Integratives Café Mitnander in Eichstetten am Kaiserstuhlhas been an open and vibrant gathering place. Here, people with and without disabilities work side by side—and together create a place for connection, participation, and true inclusion.
We place great importance on local ingredients, freshness, and tradition. Every day, we bake fresh Eichstetter country cakes with seasonal fruit from the region. Our lunch is freshly prepared—with vegetables from Eichstetten, flour from Bahlingen, and eggs from Forchheim. We cook old-fashioned home-style meals that bring back memories for older guests and are also very popular with younger guests. We offer space for family celebrations, class reunions, funerals, or bus tour groups.
In addition to its culinary offerings, our café provides one thing above all else: meaningful work and employment opportunities for people who have limited prospects in the regular job market. For them, the café is a place of training, stability, and personal growth.
